My dad was not at Pearl Harbor. He was in Europe and, from his stories, it was not pleasant. I can imagine the harbor afterwards, though. We did get there to see the memorial in 2005 and Steve still talks about it.
Hope those supporting marches and parades are doing well on this anniversary. It's quiet up here. There is quite a bit of traffic headed to the valley and the highway is sounding soothing, like a river.
For one short nano-second I did think of decorating the chicken coop, but I can just imagine how Steve would take that. But, in my defense, all those flags we decorate the 5 ton with on July 4th should be used more than just there. "Sanity" knocked me on the head and I thought better of it.
