Ziva...part deux...

Ziva turned 2 years old on the 27th.  We did the yearly "cake" for her and she has decided to stay with us for another year.  I really didn't think there was any question of that as she has it pretty easy here.  I think she knows that, too. Just keep coyotes and other problem animals off the homestead and don't eat the chickens, and we're set.

WE however, may be rethinking her training..... Ha!  She's usually pretty neat in the house...

but she got a little carried away when Steve finally got his rear into gear and started putting our new chairs together.  Dogs and packing boxes... such a catastrophic mess.  Actually, this was allowed as part of her birthday "celebration."

Steve was all business while getting them put together.  We have more company coming, so we thought they'd enjoy a place to sit. Folding chairs are not always that comfortable.

While Steve was working in the house, I was in the garage trying to get things out and priced for the Rummage Riot at the local Chamber of Commerce.  The last major 3-day holiday weekend of the year and I'm hoping to get rid of more stuff.

If the Victorian Christmas decor goes, I'll be a happy camper.  It'll be nice to be down to only 1 Christmas theme and half the storage boxes.

Then, well, then more shopping?....
