That's exactly us today. Company is coming and there was SO much to do to get ready. Then, on top of that, the blueberries had to/got to go into the ground today.
Nothing like having company to get people moving on cleaning the house, whether it needs it or not. Ha! Here, it needed it. We've had all the windows open for any little breeze during our heat wave and a lot of dust comes in with those breezes. Dusting, vacuuming, towels in the restroom, light sheets on the bed, casseroles in the refrigerator. Yup, all set.
Then it was wait for clouds and run like crazy when they arrived.

... and they were planted. We just finished this because we'd been waiting for the clouds all day and they arrived an hour ago (always transplant at dusk or during cloudy conditions). Each plant got a huge amount of a soil acidifier and I watered the beegeebees around them. After I see how much the soil recedes, the beds will get pine needles as mulch.
If you look up at the top of the picture you will see the dark clouds coming our way. I think it's safe to say that they won't need more water tomorrow.
